Sons of the Forest Big Head mode adds a whacky twist to the survival-horror game, calling back to a wide number of games like Goldeneye 007, NFL Blitz, and Tekken 2, among others. While it may be a goofy in-game mod, it does make Kelvin even scarier when it randomly appears or runs out of the woods toward you. Here’s how to turn on Big Head mode.

How to Turn on Big Head Mode in Sons of the Forest

Luckily, it doesn’t take much effort at all to turn on Big Head mode. All you’ll have to do is toggle one option. It doesn’t require any console commands or cheats to enable. Here’s what to do. 

  • Start Sons of the Forest.
  • Go to Options. 
  • Got to Gameplay.
  • Turn Big Head Mode on in the Gameplay subsection at the bottom of the screen. 
  • Choose Apply. 

Now start a new game or load into one of your saves, and you’ll find that everyone and everything has a big head. This includes Kelvin, all of the cannibals, and all of the animals. You can also toggle this mode on and off at will while playing; it doesn’t have to be enabled before starting a game.
