How to Get Golden Eggs in Vampire Survivors

Purchase from the Merchant

The quickest and easiest way to get Golden Egg is to purchase it from the Merchant for 10,000 gold coins. You can buy as many as you want, provided you’ve got the coin. This guide tells you how to farm gold coins and provides an optimal build

You can meet the Merchant at Moongolow, which is the second bonus stage in the game. It can be accessed after unlocking Hyper Mode on four normal stages.

Another way is to simply cast an Honesty spell, using the Forbidden Scrolls of Morbane in The Bone Zone.

Note that you can force the Merchant to spawn in all other stages as well, if you purchase a Glass Vizard from him for another 10,000 gold coins.

Dropped by Masked Guardians

There are four Atlanteans in Vampire Survivors that guard various stage items. One of them drops a Golden Egg when defeated, but the chance is completely random.

Here is the list of all Masked Guardians and their guarded items:

  • Sun Atlantean (Gold Ring).
  • Moon Atlantean (Silver Ring).
  • City Atlantean (Metaglio Left).
  • Volcano Atlantean (Metaglio Right).

The boss of Moongolow, known as Moongolow Atlantean, also has the chance to drop one Golden Egg after being defeated.

Dropped by The Reaper

The Reaper is another good source of farming Golden Eggs, as this enemy may drop not one but five Golden Eggs at a time.

The Reaper, also known as Death, appears on each stage once the time limit of that specific stage has come to an end. You’ve likely come across him a fair share of times.

However, in order for this enemy to drop Golden Eggs, players need to defeat him using either Infinite Corridor, which is the evolution of Clock Lancet, or Crimson Shroud, which is the evolution of Laurel.
