If you’re looking to complete your Air Chakra quests in Fortnite, you will need an Airbending Scroll. Like the other Bending Scrolls, there are two Shrines you can go to to get one. However, there are other ways to get one as well. Here’s how.
How to Get an Airbending Scroll in Fortnite
The only way to open your Air Chakra is to wield the power of air with an Airbending Scroll. They are found in a few different locations: Air Elemental Shrines, in chests, or funnily enough, on the train.
Air Elemental Shrines
The only definite spots that will have scrolls every match are the two Airbending Shrines. However, each shrine will only drop two scrolls each, so if you want to get one, you’ll need to ensure you beat other players to the drop.
The two locations of the Air Shrines are northwest of Grand Glacier and northeast of Brawler’s Battleground. Both shrines will have a special podium in the center where you can interact (X on Xbox, Square on Playstation, or E on PC) to drop two Airbending scrolls.
Chests
Another way to get Airbending scrolls is to search chests. They have a chance of dropping out of any chest, just like any other item. However, since they are a Mythic item, they will have a greater chance of dropping from Rare Chests and a lower chance of dropping from ordinary chests.
The best spots to look for scroll-containing chests are vaults and bunkers, as they almost always contain at least one Rare Chest. Always keep an eye on the map as well, since if players happen to drop one of the scrolls, their icon will pop up at that location.
Train
The last spot I had luck finding scrolls on is the train. You can always track its location by looking at your map or heading to the nearest railroad tracks and listening for the whistle. The train has several loot containers to search that seem to have a greater chance to drop scrolls.
In one match, I found three different scrolls after looting them all. You can also try to hack the train chest to drop some higher rarity loot as well, which, like the vault or bunkers, will more likely drop a scroll. The train is always a more dangerous spot to land on though, so make sure you’re prepared to defend yourself.
Once you have an Airbending Scroll, you’ll be able to start completing your Air Chakra quests. Even if you aren’t working toward the quests, it’s one of the best Bending abilities to have to get around the map much faster and boost yourself up to high ground.
