Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom — How to Unlock Sahasra Slope Skyview Tower in TotK

Here's how to get to and unlock the Sahasra Slope Skyview Tower in Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom.

There are plenty of Skyview Towers in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, and you’ll want to seek them out to add portions of the map to your Purah Pad. One of the trickier ones you may not know how to unlock is the Sahasra Slope Skyview Tower. It’s not immediately clear how to get inside and solve its puzzle. Here are all the necessary steps to unlocking it.

The entrance to the Sahasra Slope Skyview Tower is located at coordinates 1349, 1161, 0161, or southeast of central Hyrule. When you arrive, you’ll quickly notice that the doors are jammed and you can’t get in.

An NPC near Sahasra Tower mentions that a neighboring cave may have mushrooms, but that’s not really what we need the cave for. Instead, we need it to unlock the Tower.

You can find the cave entrance at coordinates 1377, 1199, 0135. Once inside, you’ll need to break through some rock barriers with either a Fused Rock weapon or Bomb Flowers to move through the cave.

I found numerous rocks around the cave floor and a Rusty Claymore, so if you didn’t come with a Boulder Sword, don’t sweat it. There are materials nearby.

When you’re ready to swing that rock-crumbling weapon, start smashing the barriers at the back right of the cave. You’ll come across some Horriblin enemies on the other side, so be prepared for a quick battle.

The Horriblin enemies will be crawling on the ceiling in super-creepy fashion, and I found you can bring them down by firing Fire Fruit and Bomb Flower fused arrows, finally eliminating them with a Sword at ground level.

Once you defeat the cave-dwelling foes, go to coordinates 1339, 1175, 0132 and use your Ascend ability by aiming at the ceiling. I found this exact location through trial and error, and Ascending here will get you right inside Sahasra Slope Skyview Tower.

Once inside Sahasra Slope Skyview Tower, you’ll notice some sticks on either side of the door, keeping it jammed shut. Use your Ultrahand ability to move the sticks out of the way. Then, open the door. You’ll then be able to sync your Purah Pad with the Tower, and set off from the launch pad to unlock the region.
