Where to Find all the Energy Spheres in Nutty Noon

As we’ve said before, each stage in Kirby’s Return to Dreamland Deluxe tells you how many Energy Spheres there are when standing in front of the stage door. If you notice any of the icons are filled out of order, chances are you probably missed a sphere or two. We mentioned this in our guide on the Energy Spheres in the Egg Engines so if you’re having trouble there check that guide out as well.

If you are looking for a specific stage go ahead and skip forward with one of these links.

Kirby’s Return to Dream Land Deluxe Energy Spheres Level 5-1

Sphere 1

In the 3rd area of stage 1, you’ll come to a part where there is a continuous gust of wind that helps you ascend quicker. On the way up you’ll see a rectangle of blocks that hold a red star door. Head inside and cross the bridge to obtain the first Nutty Noon Energy Sphere.

Sphere 2

The second sphere needs an ability that can cut vines or rope. Along the path with plenty of platforms suspended but vines you’ll keep heading to the right until you get to a cut above. Take the path above and head a bit further to the right to find a red star door below.

This is another easy Energy Sphere. You’ll cut the platforms to get them to fall and make your way to the second sphere.

Sphere 3

The search next Energy Sphere can be easily missed as it’s a little hidden on the path. You’ll come to a section where Kirby is jumping up on vine platforms to the top. At one point you’ll see some peculiar clouds with interesting colors to the left.

There is a secret path behind these puffy clouds so you’ll go to the left and float a bit higher to find the 3rd sphere.

Sphere 4

At the near end of the stage you’ll be running between spiked balls that will trigger bomb blocks on their path. Run with them to the end to find the last Energy Sphere of stage 1 at the end. Rush over the smaller spiked ball to get the sphere before the second ball blocks your path.

Kirby’s Return to Dream Land Deluxe Energy Spheres Level 5-2

Sphere 1

The first sphere in stage 2 requires you to carry the balloon bomb to a large unbreakable yellow block. Use the balloon bomb to destroy the blocks and make your way into the hidden door. Then you’ll grab the bomb ability in the room and stand on the nearby switch.

What you’ll have to do is aim your bomb through the gate you opened to hit the bomb block on the other side. This destroys the steel blocks below and lets you get the Energy Sphere.

Sphere 2

The next sphere is shortly after the Moundo Miniboss. Take the stone ability and use it on the wooden posts nearby. Don’t use it on the 3rd post however because this blocks the path to the Energy Sphere just below.

Sphere 3-4

Moving on to the final two spheres of level 2 you’ll get the super beam ability. Light all the star cylinders along the way to open the star portal. Hop in and make your way to the Sphere Doomer battle to earn the last two Energy Spheres in stage two.

Sphere 1

The first Energy Sphere puts you in a race with an enemy holding a key. Not long after using the Crackler Cannon you’ll enter a door and see the key wielding enemy. Race it to the end before it destroys the key and itself to open the locked gate holding the sphere.

Sphere 2

The second Energy Sphere is further ahead and needs the beam ability. You’ll see some steel blocks to the left with a bomb block on the other side. Use your beam to hit the bomb block destroying the steel blocks and letting you get to the red star door. Follow the path in the room to get to a switch that will release the sphere.

Sphere 3

The next sphere is one of the trickiest to get. It requires the Hi-jump ability. As you make your way up a stone area. You’ll come to a part where there are 3 paths you could take. There is a ground switch to the left, a pull switch to the top-left and if you look closely you’ll see the sphere in the right path.

The pull switch opens up the right path toward the Energy Sphere. The timing is weird but you’ll have to step on the ground switch, grab the pull switch, rush down, rush to the right and high jump up to get in before the platform reappears.

Sphere 4

Luckily after the 3rd sphere the next one is pretty easy to grab. On your way to the exit gate to finish the stage if you look close enough you’ll see it sitting in the clouds. It’s easy to see through the orange clouds.

Kirby’s Return to Dream Land Deluxe Energy Spheres Level 5-4

Sphere 1

The first Energy Sphere requires the spiked boots. You’ll come across the sphere under a bridge. Hop in one of the shoes and smash the nearby big yellow block. Then step on the spikes and bounce your way to the sphere.

Sphere 2

In the very next area you’ll come across the second sphere. Kirby will hop on a rope and shimmy across. Then later on you’ll see two large cannons shooting fireballs back and forth. That’s where the Energy Sphere waits.

Sphere 3-4

The last two spheres are kept by the Sphere Doomer. You’ll have to take the super hammer ability from super bonkers.

Use your super hammer ability on top of the giant spring to smash a bell opening the star portal. Then make your way to the Sphere Doomer and take the Energy Spheres it has.

Kirby’s Return to Dream Land Deluxe Energy Spheres Level 5-5

Sphere 1

The next stage is a sort of  boss rush where you’ll battle the different minibosses you’ve fought through the game. Take the ability of the first miniboss, Giant Edge then head through the gate and cut the rope on the hanging platform to get the first Energy Sphere.

Sphere 2

The second sphere follows the same pattern as the first. You’ll fight Moundo this time. Take him down and snag the ability. Then in the next room use that ability to smash through the blocks to get the Energy Sphere

Sphere 3

For the third Energy Sphere you’ll fight Water Galboros beating and eating him gives you water Kirby. This lets you take care of the fire blocks blocking you from the sphere in the next room.

Sphere 4

Lastly you’ll fight Dubior to get the fourth. Eat it to get the spark ability. Head through the gate and quickly shift left and right to charge your electric force field. Now shoot it through the steel blocks to hit the bomb block inside. This reveals the last sphere of Nutty Noon.

Now you’ll have all 20 Nutty Noon Energy Spheres. If you’re looking for help with finding the rest of the Energy Spheres in Kirby’s Return to Dream Land Deluxe check out our other guides.
