Bloodstained Ritual of the Night Millionaire Key Guide

Want to get through that troublesome Millionaire Door in the Hall Of Termination? You'll have to find a the Millionaire Key!

It wouldn’t be a ‘vania-style platformer if you didn’t have to hunt down items in out of the way locations to open up locked doors way back at the beginning of the game. Bloodstained: Ritual Of The Night keeps firmly to that tradition with a Millionaire Door that can’t be opened until several hours after first finding the Millionaire Key.

Still haven’t managed to track down the key? It’s hiding up on the ceiling in a very late game area!

Where To Find The Millionaire Key

Millionaire Key Chest Location In The Den Of Behemoths

This item is found near the end of the game when you gain access to the Den of Behemoths. If you haven’t unlocked this area yet, you need to use the zangetsuto blade (earned by defeating Zangetsu) to slice the red moon in half during the boss fight with Gebel.

When you finally reach the Den of Behemoths area, invert the map by pressing down, up, and then the jump button to drop onto the ceiling at the spot indicated in the map above.

From there, invert again so you can stand up and open the chest to get the Millionaire’s Key. You can also simply fly up there instead to grab the chest.

That key is then used to open the Bloodstained: Ritual Of The Night Millionaire Door found in the Hall Of Termination.

Unfortunately, just like with the silver bromide chest, this is another element that has apparently been messed up with the 1.02 patch. Some players are finding they either can’t get in with the key, or that they are actually able to only open the door without the key.

Considering how far into the game the key is located, this probably isn’t an issue where you’ll want to uninstall and reinstall the game and then pause the patch installation. Instead, it may be better to just wait for the next patch to fix the problem permanently.
