The Goliath race in Forza Horizon 5 is not only the hardest and largest race in the game, it also offers a huge 40,000 XP reward, as well as “Long Gone” achievement once you finish it. This race will take you all around the game’s world map, which does take a lot of time and preparedness.
Our guide will explain how to unlock Goliath race in Forza Horizon 5. You will need to do a few other smaller races before you can get into the big one, and then you can really test out the power of your vehicle.
How to Unlock Goliath Race in Forza Horizon 5
Earn Accolade Points
Before you can start playing the biggest race in the game, you will have to finish a few other smaller tasks that can be found in the Accolades menu:
- Go to “Campaign” menu
- Select “World Map” option
- Select “View Accolades“
Here you can choose to complete smaller tasks and earn Accolade points, which are required to collect Adventure Chapter points.
Earn Adventure Chapter Points
When you earn around 8,000 Accolade points, this should be enough to get 1x Adventure Chapter point.
Before unlocking the Goliath race, you will need to at least unlock the first two Horizon Festival adventures: “Welcome to Mexico” and “On a Wing and a Prayer”.
Complete any of the smaller Accolade tasks to your liking and once you unlock another Adventure Chapter point, follow these steps:
- Join the Horizon Festival Mexico mainstage
- Select “Festival Line Up” option
- You should have “1 Available Unlocks” listed below the menu
- Select “The Goliath” ultimate event from the list
- Confirm by spending your Adventure Chapter point
Now you can start racing in the Goliath event and make a tour around Mexico. You will need a really good car to be able to finish this race, so be prepared to spend some credits.
The best car for this event would be Lamborghini Sesto Elemento. There are two versions of this car in Forza Horizon 5. One can be purchased from an Autoshow for 2.5 million credits, while the special Forza Edition can be only unlocked through Wheelspin or Super Wheelspin, and purchased through Auction House.
