The release of a complete version of Minecraft 1.14 is almost over, and soon Mojang will announce an official Village and Pillage release date. (Note: Village and Pillage is now available on Java and PS4.)
Just as the title of the new update suggest, there is a greater focus on new types of villages. Here you will find all kinds of settlements from the most usual ones, like plains and savanna villages, to the most bizarre ones, like mesa and zombie villages.
If you're ready to explore all these new territories, then check out our best Minecraft seeds selection for the month of April.

You will spawn right next to a desert temple that has some incredible loot inside the four chests resting on the bottom of its treasure pit:
But that's not it. In the vicinity of the temple you will discover five villages on different biomes. Here are their coordinates:
Spawn on a tiny island next to several shipwrecks and an ocean monument at coordinates 200, 185.
Then, find your way to coordinates 1050, 825, where you will find an island village with ocean ruins and a couple more shipwrecks nearby.
There is enough free space on the island for more buildings, so you can add more houses or other structures to your liking.
You will spawn right next to a rather large plains village with several big buildings. The surrounding area consists of a variety of biomes, one of which is a roofed forest accommodating a woodland mansion at coordinates -600, 500.
On the ground floor of the main hall you will find a nice treasure chest with:
Spawn on the edge of mesa biome that is surrounded by villages and temples. Here are the coordinates to all villages:
And here are the coordinates to all the temples:
As you spawn go in the southwestern direction and soon you will arrive at a very fine village standing at coordinates -500, 650. The village is surrounded by a river and it also has a lava pool for generating obsidian blocks.
Under the village you will find a skeleton dungeon at coordinates -440, 635. Inside the two treasure chests you'll find:
Forest village at spawn! As always, it is now protected by an iron golem, so you don't have to worry about the hostile mobs coming out of the woods anymore.
But don't stay here for too long, and travel to coordinates -700, 200, where you will find another village surrounded by rivers on the north and mountains in the south.
There is also a huge ravine nearby for mining coal, gold, and even some obsidian ore.
Island village and shipwreck at spawn! Since the village is clearly merging with ocean water, you can even see an ocean ruin becoming a part of it, which is unusual to say the least.
The shipwreck nearby, although not a top-tier one, has one chest with some enchanted gear:
You will spawn on a huge ice plains biome with a snow village standing on the ocean shore at coordinates -240, -765.
There is also a shipwreck nearby at coordinates -230, -980, which contains Leather Cap - Blast Protection III.
Outside the village there is a massive natural shaft spanning a hundred blocks underground.
Huge village with blacksmith at spawn! There are lots of farms here and a smithy that keeps several chunks of obsidian in his chest.
Then, go in the northern direction, which will bring you to a desert biome. Arrive at coordinates 70, -200 and start digging. You will soon find yourself inside a completely buried desert temple with some nice loot:
Double village at spawn! One of them even has a blacksmith, and both have iron golems, so now you can have two of these creatures protecting your settlement.
If you can't see the villages from behind the trees of the forest where you spawn, then just use these coordinates 265, 360. But you should have no trouble finding them as both villages are really close.
Woodland mansion at spawn! Well, at least you need to walk just a little bit to coordinates 150, 480.
The mansion is not very big, but there is a secret room at coordinates 116, 64, 452 with a chest containing a diamond hoe.
You will spawn just a few blocks away from a mesa biome that has a completely exposed mineshaft on the surface at coordinates 420, 20.
It's as if the entire mineshaft has been packed inside a mesa hill with all entrances and exits totally open.
You will also find a chest on a cart near one of the entrances with a golden apple inside.
Jungle pyramids are becoming extremely rare to find in Minecraft 1.14. That is why often you will only find one of them in the entire jungle biome.
Here are the coordinates to a jungle temple in this seed: -270, 700.
But also be sure to check out a zombie village at coordinates 100, 280, which is entirely covered in cobweb.
Spawn on the beach of a huge survival island that hosts a few points of interest:
The best loot can be found inside the desert temple, which holds the following items:
Spawn on the border of two biomes: savanna and desert. Just a few blocks down south in the savanna territory you will find your first village at coordinates -300, 200.
If you go to the north you will find your second village and a temple in the desert at coordinates -400, -300.
The loot inside the temple is as follows:
Here's one of the weirdest things you will see in Minecraft 1.14. Not too far from the spawn area you will find a village at coordinates 300, 200.
It stands right on the border of a forest and snow plains, and combines both of these worlds into one. This means that village has buildings characteristic to both forest and snow villages.
So you could call it a hybrid village.
You will spawn on a tiny survival island to the east from another one that is much bigger. This other island hosts a desert temple at coordinates 600, -250, and here's the kind of loot you will find inside:
Not too far from the spawn point you will discover a massive woodland mansion standing on the bank of the river at coordinates 200, 700.
There isn't much in terms of treasure, but on the top floor you will find a new phenomenon: a church with an idol. You will also see a local priest and a few cult members there.
Spawn on the edge of the bamboo jungle biome, where you will surely find a few pandas to hang around with.
But the main point of interest is the jungle pyramid at coordinates 0, 700. There is only one chest inside, but it's worth the time to locate it:
You will spawn on the border of taiga and ice plains not too far away from a snow village at coordinates 275, 760.
Also, there is not one but two abandoned mineshafts underneath the village. One starts at coordinates 295, 550 and the other one at 150, 510.
The second one has a really nice chest at coordinates 130, 23, 530 with the following items:
