Dragon shouts are the defining abilities of the Dragonborn in Skyrim. There are 27 dragon shouts in Skyrim that grant Dragonborn with unusual powers that can change the course of the game. Our guide will provide you with tips on how to unlock all dragon shouts in Skyrim.
These magical abilities need to be learnt after discovering Word Walls, special places of power that are protected by dragons. There you can learn words of power that unleash the power of dragon shouts within Dragonborn.
How to Unlock All Dragon Shouts in Skyrim
Before you can start unlocking dragon shouts in Skyrim, you need to complete "The Horn of Jurgen Windcaller" quest, given by Arngeir at High Hrothgar, Whiterun. Once this quest is done, you need to return to Arngier and ask him the following question during your dialogue:
"Have you located any Words of Power?"
He will then give you the locations to the Word Walls (indicated on the map above) that contain all the words of power for unlocking dragon shouts. But remember that the dragon Paarthurnax must not be killed before this conversation, or Arngier will not give you the locations.
Each dragon shout requires three words of power to be fully unlocked, and each word can be found at different Word Walls. Each word will require one dragon soul to be unlocked. You can acquire dragon souls by defeating dragons.
