Where to Find Blast Powder in LEGO Fortnite

Before you can get Blast Powder, you’ll need to do some preparations first. Blast Powder can only be obtained by killing the Skeletons in the Dry Valley (desert biome)

Remember that the dry valley is hot, so you’ll be taking heat damage if you don’t bring the right gear. I recommend crafting a Cool-Headed Charm since it gives you heat resistance. However, if you don’t have one, you can also bring some Snowberry Shakes with you since they give you heat resistance for a limited time.

These Skeletons will only appear at night, so make sure to bring plenty of torches so you can see. You won’t have to look hard to find them since they spawn in groups. Not every Skeleton will drop Blast Powder, but I always get a good handful with each group I defeat.

How do You Use Blast Powder?

Blast Powder allows you to make a few different helpful tools. My favorite tool you can make with it is the Grappler, which allows you to reach high areas like tall cliffs and trees. To make the Grappler you’ll need:

  • x10 Cords
  • x3 Blast Powder
  • x3 Copper Bars x 3

What you probably want to make with Blast Powder, though, is Dynamite. As you might suspect, you can throw it and cause an explosion. I find this helpful for not only opening new pathways but also for dealing with large groups of enemies or giants like Brutes. To make Dynamite you’ll need:

  • x3 Knotroot Rods
  • x1 Blast Powder
