Top 10 Prettiest Base Locations in Palworld

Of all the areas fit for setting up camp in Palworld, here are the top 10 prettiest base locations.

You can set up your base in just about any area of the Palpagos Islands, though your first pick probably wasn’t much to look at. If you’re like me, then you favor bases that are just as awe-inspiring as they are practical. To save you the trouble of searching for beautiful landscapes, I’ve put together a list of the top 10 prettiest base locations in Palworld, complete with their coordinates.

What are the Prettiest Base Locations in Palworld?

10. Antiquated Fort Ruins

Coordinates: 182, -390

Accessible from early on in your Palworld playthrough, Fort Ruins is a great spot to set up your base. Decaying structures are found throughout this area, ready for you to breathe some life back into the abandoned fort. A shallow creek lined with flowers and vegetation flows past the main structure as well, offering up a charming view. The Pals found here are relatively low-level, too, so it’s a safe option through the mid-game.

9. Autumn Leaves

Coordinates: -52, -489

This is another early-game option for your base — and easily the most beautiful spot you’ll find so soon. It’s located in the same area as the Small Settlement, where you’ll find a Pal Merchant stationed in a shop at the heart of the village. Complete with two large, split-level plots and an Ore garden, the paths lined with fall foliage here are both undeniably breathtaking and practical. If you’re a fan of autumn-themed builds, this is the spot for you.

8. Mountain Views and Hordes of Cinnamoth

Coordinates: 17, -87

For those who favor high-altitude bases to avoid getting raided, this plot of land offers safety and a stunning view. While the surrounding landscape is rather barren, apart from a few Ore deposits here and there, you can see just about every mountaintop off in the distance. Hordes of wild (and friendly) Cinnamoth are also found practically everywhere since you’re just a hop away from Cinnamoth Forest. As a fan of this cute Grass-type Pal myself, this is one of my favorite spots in Palworld.

7. Private Oasis

Coordinates: -262, -365

This private oasis is tucked away at the top of a steep mountain. Admittedly, the banyan tree groves at lower altitudes here are a much greater sight to behold, but you still get a fantastic aerial view from this plot of land. Apart from the clear pond at the edge of this area, you also have access to a huge Ore farm. There’s another group of deposits nearby as well, making this the perfect location for a build that’s both beautiful and packed with resources.

6. Tropical Paradise

Coordinates: -247, -43

Forgotten Island is brimming with gorgeous views, and its palm-lined beaches are one of its biggest selling points. While there are plenty of tropical areas found throughout Palworld, I think they could do with a bit more life. That said, similar landscapes can’t compete with the sheer amount of greenery here. There’s also a variety of cliffs to incorporate into your base build if you’re feeling creative.

5. Lively Banyan Groves

Coordinates: 304, -247

Moving into my top picks, these vast banyan groves hidden between Grintale’s den and a Skill Fruit tree are almost dream-like. This is another spot that had me spinning in circles just to take it all in. While it would be tough to build your base on the small islands throughout this area, there’s one large plot of land just the right size to set up camp. Marked by a single banyan tree much larger than the rest, this location also provides a solid supply of Red Berries to snack on.

4. Cottagecore Living

Coordinates: 406, -334

If you’re a fan of the cottagecore aesthetic, say hello to the perfect spot for your cozy cabin build. This area is entirely lined with evergreen trees and blanketed with a thin veil of fog. You’ll also find wildflowers sprinkled throughout the grass — a detail that truly ties it all together. While the wild Pals here are on the weaker side, some of the cutest species, like Cremis and Rooby, call this place home.

3. Twin Ponds and Wintry Woods

Coordinates: -316, -11

This beautiful base location is similar to the last, but it has a much more rustic look overall. With two ponds on either side of a large, round plot of land and many more bodies of water throughout the area, it makes a peaceful location for your base. Technically located on Forgotten Island, you have a clear view of the wintry slopes found on Ice Wind Island — though without the threat of the cold.

2. Lush Landscape at Ascetic Falls

Coordinates: -226, -425

When I first arrived at Ascetic Falls in Palworld, this view had me doing a 360 with my camera. Granted, it’s not an ideal spot for those who prefer expansive bases, but it’s got the right bones for a creative build. A massive land bridge connects two lush slopes, giving way to ledges and sizable cliffs to use for a split-level build if necessary. There’s also a barren plot of flat land nearby, so you can easily set up your main base just a short walk away to take in the view of the cascading waterfall.

1. Fields of Foxglove

Coordinates: -52, -429

Just north of the Ravine Entrance fast travel point, you’ll find an absolutely stunning field of purple flowers that seems to stretch on forever. Complete with a view of Azurobe’s lake, this location is easily one of the most beautiful areas in the game. While it’s a popular pick among base-building fanatics, it’s certainly worthy of my top spot. I haven’t gotten around to moving my own main base just yet, but I’ll be setting up camp here for sure.

After hours spent exploring the Palpagos Islands in Palworld, these are my picks for the top 10 prettiest base locations. As the saying goes, however, beauty is in the eye of the beholder. The landscapes throughout Pocketpair’s wildly successful monster-catcher RPG are just as varied as the Pals found across the world’s biomes, and countless plots make excellent locations for your home base.
