BitLife: How to Complete the Shib-Uya Challenge

Dote on darling Shiba Inu Dogs in the Shib-Uya BitLife Challenge!

Dogs are at the heart of this week’s live challenge, and I am here for it. Here’s how to complete the Shib-Uya Challenge in BitLife.

How to Finish the Shib-Uya Live Challenge in BitLife

The focus of this challenge is doting on a trio of dogs, and that means the amount of RNG you need to face is limited.

Be Born a Female in Japan

For this one, you need to start a Custom Life and select Japan as your country. It doesn’t matter which specific location in Japan you’re in. So, you get to pick whichever you like best there. I chose Tokyo.

Become a Fashion Designer

Since you need to go to university, you’ll want to keep your Smarts high while growing up by doing activities like reading books. After graduating high school, select Apply to University and choose Graphic Design as your major. If it doesn’t show up, you might need to Age Up and apply to university again the next year. With an income, you can complete the next three tasks while in university.

After graduating from university, search the Job Listings for Jr. Fashion Designer and apply. This task has the most RNG involved. If the job isn’t in the listings, you need to Age Up and check again. I had the worst luck here. My character was about age 50 before the job came up in the listings for me. Luckily, you just need to have the job to check off the task, so you complete it once you get hired.

Own 3+ Shiba Inus

You can go about this in two ways. First, the Animal Shelter under Activities > Pets might have a Shiba Inu you can adopt. Second, the Dog Breeder option in the Pets tab has a Shiba Inu choice. When I looked, the breeder had about five Shiba Inus. So, I kept returning to the tab and bought three of them in one year to check off this task.

Have a Perfect Relationship with Your Shibas

Like with people, you can see your relationships with pets under the Relationships option. Then, you can select the Shibas and choose an interaction to increase your relationship with them. I raised it pretty quickly by giving them treats. But I mixed it up by taking them on walks as well. Repeat these options until their relationship bars are full. Since you can keep interacting with them, you can check off this task within the same year that you get your Shibas.

Go on Vacation to France

This is the last task, but you can complete it at any point once your character is an adult and you have the money. Go to Activities > Vacation > Vacation and look for France as an option for the destination. If it doesn’t show up, you can close out the pop-up and bring it back up to try again. Otherwise, you can Age Up and check the options for France. And after confirming your vacation plan, you’ll check off this task.

And that’s how to Complete the Shib-Uya Challenge in BitLife. It’s one of the few challenges where most of the tasks can be done in any order without making later tasks more difficult. From here, check out our BitLife guides hub for more topics like how to appraise items or how to summon ghosts.
