How to Complete Radio Silence in Gray Zone Warfare

Radio Silence might be an early quest in Gray Zone Warfare, but it can still be tricky. Here's how to complete it.

The opening tasks in Gray Zone Warfare help set the tone for all those that follow. As such, learning how to complete Radio Silence in the introductory town just outside your base will inform how you approach future, much harder tasks. Here’s how to do it.

Note: I play as the Mithras faction, meaning my directions will be relative to my base’s southern position. The opening towns are identical regardless of faction, so orient yourself appropriately.

How to Complete the Radio Silence Task in Gray Zone Warfare

There’s only one objective to complete in Radio Silence: find the small house in the south of the city and neutralize the radio equipment inside. You don’t need to fight any enemies to do it, so you can technically knife run your way to the house, complete the objective, and let the AI send you respawning back at base.

The house you’re looking for is almost directly south of the Warehouse building in the southeast part of town. It’s just before you head into the southern forest.

You’ll know the house by both its red awning and the ramshackle garage on the right side of the plot.

Once you’re inside the house, head to the second floor and look for obvious radio equipment. Approach it and select Sabotage when prompted.

Once sabotaged, the task is complete. You don’t need to go back to base and turn in any items or anything else. You do still need to press the “Complete” button on the Handshake vendor screen, but other than that, there are no additional requirements.

Knowing all that, the easiest way to complete Radio Silence in Gray Zone Warfare is to land at the Bravo 1 LZ and book it straight east, bypassing any enemies or other threats in the town itself. If you’re trying to do multiple tasks at once, be mindful of overextending, but you’ll probably loop south from inside town or start at the Radio Silence house and head north.

You should determine which landing zone you want to extract from before you start tasking and finish the final one you want to do as close to that LZ as possible. Doing so is both safer and more efficient, though if you just want to wander around town shooting everything that moves, don’t let me stop you.
