The Halloween tour is here, which means we get King Boo, spooky tracks, and a brand new page of challenges to complete in Mario Kart Tour! Having trouble figuring out how to cause opponents to crash 10 times in a single race using a driver wearing a tie?

Two drivers currently fit that bill, but actually managing to cause 10 crashes in a row can be difficult if you don’t know which tracks to pick. Luckily, there’s a trick to getting crash-causing items!

Cause A Crash 10 Times Using A Driver With A Tie

For this challenge, you need either Musician Mario or Donkey Kong in your roster.

The former is extremely rare (and if you’ve got him, boy are you lucky!) while the latter occasionally shows up in the shop.

Either save up some coins and hope for the best in the shop rotation, or spend all your rubies on pipe pulls in the hopes of getting one of those drivers.

When you’ve nabbed either driver, these are the items that cause another racer to crash:

  • Bullet Bill
  • Green Shell
  • Red Shell
  • Banana
  • Bowser’s Shell
  • Bob-omb
  • Mega Mushroom
  • Yoshi’s Egg

When using Donkey Kong or Musician Mario on a track where they are the favored driver you receive three items per box, which makes it possible — but still a little difficult — to knock over 10 other drivers naturally. These are the favored driver courses if you want to go that route:

  • Musician Mario
    • Yoshi Circuit R
    • Waluigi Pinball R
    • Daisy Hills
    • New York Minute T
    • New York Minute R
  • Donkey Kong
    • Dino Dino Jungle
    • Waluigi Pinball R
    • Rock Rock Mountain

More likely, you’ll need to use item tickets to refill your item slots.

In fact, the easiest ways to complete this challenge is to start off in last place (so don’t initiate a rocket start like normal) and then immediately tap your item ticket.

If you are in the back, you are more likely to pull a better crash-causing item like a Mega Mushroom, Bowser Shell, Bullet Bill, etc.

If you manage to land a Mega Mushroom while in last place, you can potentially net 7 immediate crashes just by plowing through the other drivers directly at the start of the track while in giant driver mode.
