What to Give Sebastian in Dragon’s Dogma 2: House of the Blue Sunbright Guide

Here's what to give Sebastian in the House of the Blue Sunbright quest in Dragon's Dogma 2.

The House of the Blue Sunbright quest started by Diana in the Slums involves the young Sebastian traveling to Melve. He seeks your aid on what to bring for the road so that he has a safe journey. Here’s what to give Sebastian for the road in Dragon’s Dogma 2.

As Sebastian was getting ready, I found that the correct items to give him were Waking Powder, Detoxifying Decoction, and an Eye of the Cyclops. As Diana and Daphne describe, the two potions will help him fight poisonous plants, and the eye will repel monsters. Here are easy ways to get all three items:

  • Waking Powder: If you don’t have any, you can craft them by combining Grandpetal and Grandpetal. Alternatively, Philbert’s Sundries sells some in Vernworth’s town square.
  • Detoxifying Decoction: Similarly to the Waking Powder, you can craft this curative using Pityworth and Syrupwort Leaf if you don’t already have it. It’s also available in the Sundries shop in the square.
  • Eye of the Cyclops: You should have at least one eye from the Cyclops boss fight while reaching Vernworth. If you’ve sold it or used it already, you can fight Cyclops’s enemies in these two areas and loot the eye.

Once you have all three items give them to Sebastian and he’ll be on his way. The quest will tell you to return in a few days for your reward. Since I gave him all three items Sebastian returned safely but since Dragon’s Dogma 2 doesn’t allow multiple saves I haven’t tested what happens otherwise. I would assume you can’t even send him on his way without giving him anything.

Either way, that’s how to complete the House of the Blue Sunbright quest in Dragon’s Dogma 2. For more Dragon’s Dogma 2 guides check out how to unlock the Mystic Spearhand or how to change pawn and character appearance.
