Mario Kart Tour Guide: Cause Opponents to Crash 10 Times Using a Driver Wearing a Crown

Knocking over drivers 10 times isn't too difficult, if you plan ahead and know how to pull the best items while using a driver with a crown.

The second round of weekly Halloween challenges have arrived for Mario Kart Tour, and that means its time to start figuring out how to do weird things on the track — like cause opponents to crash 10 times in a single race using a driver wearing a crown.

Thankfully this one has a wider roster of drivers to pick from than some of the other challenges, and its a good bet you’ve already got a racer wearing a crown in your list.

How To Get 10 Crashes With Driver Wearing A Crown

Unlike a lot of other challenges, this all has to be done in the space of a single track, so you need to plan ahead.

There are two different ways to go about this that we cover below, and here are the drivers that fit the bill for the challenge:

  • Baby Peach
  • Baby Daisy
  • Baby Rosalina
  • Peach
  • Daisy
  • Rosalina
  • King Boo
  • Luigi’s Mansion King Boo

It is entirely possible to complete this challenge organically if you land enough Green Shells, Red Shells, and Bananas, but there’s two more strategic ways to go about it if you are having trouble.

With either method, make sure to take a glider that increases your chances of pulling crash-causing items rather than a glider that bumps your chances of pulling something like a Mushroom or Coin.

Method 1

For this method, pick a level with a narrow track and sharp corners like Rainbow Road (which is Rosalina’s favored course) or Bowser’s Castle if you don’t have Rosalina.

With this method, don’t begin with a rocket start. You want to stay behind all the other cars to increase your chances of getting a good item (like Mega Mushroom, Bullet Bill, or Lightning).

Keep hitting items from the back, then when you luck out and pull a Lightning or Bullet Bill, aim to hit everyone on the course at once.

Method 2

For the second way to go complete this challenge quickly, take a driver with a crown’s favored course so you get three items at once. Try to pick a course with long, open track sections.

Keep hitting item boxes until you get a frenzy, at which point you are extremely likely to get all 10 crashes at once so long as you stay close to the other drivers.

Using Baby Daisy on Daisy Hills T in the Baby Luigi Cup is a great option here, especially since it’s part of this week’s ranked matches and will help you move up the tiers.

Note that this method may take several tries since you aren’t guaranteed to frenzy every race, and you might get a lame frenzy that doesn’t help — like coins or the bubble.
