How to Get and Use Venom Glands in Palworld

Venom Glands are a necessary component of poisons. Here's how to get and use them in Palworld.

Whether you want to use poison or need an edge against bosses, Venom Glands are what you’re after. But, like Pal Fluids and Leather, these aren’t just lying around. Here, I’ll tell you how to get and use Venom Glands in Palworld.

Where to Find Venom Glands in Palworld

Venom Glands are a loot item gained when defeating or catching Dark Pals. You can also purchase them from Wandering Merchants for 100 Gold apiece or loot them from chests in the environment.

The easiest way to get Venom Glands is from Pals, who can drop one or two. Even if you catch the Pal, you still loot its items as you would if you outright defeated it. This method uses up your Pal Spheres, though, so make sure you have plenty crafted.

Which Pals Drop Venom Glands in Palworld?

As mentioned, many Dark Pals drop Venom Glands, especially if they use a Poison attack. This also means you need to farm them at Night. These are the Pals I know who drop Venom Glands, along with other items you can get from them:

  • Daedream: Venom Gland, Small Pal Soul
  • Depresso: Venom Gland
  • Cawgnito: Bone, Venom Gland, Small Pal Soul
  • Menasting: Venom Gland, Coal
  • Helzephyr: Venom Gland, Medium Pal Soul
  • Killamari: Venom Gland

I’ve received the most Venom Glands from catching Daedreams, which are abundant at night in the Windswept Hills. Additionally, I find higher-level Daedreams in the dungeon near the Rayne Syndicate Tower entrance if it spawns as a Dark dungeon. Unfortunately, Mau’s only drop Gold, so if you see them in a dungeon, you’re out of luck.

Where to Buy Venom Glands in Palworld

A Wandering Merchant can visit your base early on, selling Venom Glands for 100 Gold each. Sell some items if you want to get Venom Glands right away. If he doesn’t visit, you can find him at the Small Settlement located at 76, -474. The merchant on the Forgotten Islands, west on the map, is the only other shopkeep I’ve found that sells Venom Glands, alongside medical supplies and crafting items.

While Pal Merchants change their stock of Pals, you can count on these Wandering Merchants to have the same items each time you visit. That said, buying Venom Glands is a last resort. Save your gold and farm Dark Pals.
