LEGO Fortnite: How to Get Rough and Cut Sapphire

How to Get Rough Sapphire in LEGO Fortnite

While your base camp is probably surrounded by Granite and Raspberries, you’ll need to seek out more advanced resources to advance your crafting. Rough Sapphire is required to unlock new recipes and craft the upper-level resource, Cut Sapphire.

I discovered Rough Sapphire on the ceiling of the Frostlands Ice Caves. You’ll need an Epic Pickaxe to harvest the Rough Sapphire (x8 Obsidian Slab, x5 Frostpine Rod). However, you’ll also need to prepare with some cold resistance. Here’s what you can do to safely explore the caves.

• Craft and equip an Inner Fire Charm.
  • x3 Wool Thread
  • x5 Cut Ruby
  • x8 Brightcore
  • x3 Blastcore
• Consume Spicy Peppers from the Dry Valley desert.

The Inner Fire Charm is by far the best solution. Speaking from experience, it will take quite a lot of Spicy Peppers to make it in and out with your Sapphires in tow. My favorite use for Rough Sapphire is for the Essence of Luck charm at the Essence Table. The charm will increase the chance of extra loot from enemies, so it’s worth your while.

How to Get Cut Sapphire in LEGO Fortnite

Once you’ve got your Rough Sapphire, you can simply craft the Cut Sapphire at the Gem Cutter crafting station. Here’s how to craft the Gem Cutter stations.

• x20 Marble Slabs
• x5 Rough Amber
• x3 Sand Shells
• x5 Sand Claws

Cut Sapphire is essential for the epic Regeneration Charm, and I highly recommend you craft one. The charm will increase your health regeneration over time, offering an amazing advantage against enemies. You’ll need x5 Cut Sapphires for the Charm, so be sure to stock up.
